Al Ahly’s football first team was held to a 2-2 draw against Pyramids FC in Matchday 27 at Al Ahly WE Al Salam Stadium on Thursday.

The First half
The Red Eagles started the first half looking forward to scoring the first goal in the encounter to take the early lead.
It was not until the second minute of the game when Taher Mohamed Taher missed a clear-cut chance.
The following minutes saw several chances from our side; however, the result remained the same.
After 15 minutes of the match, Pyramids gradually started to create various goalscoring opportunities, but our defence blocked all their attempts.
The game saw a turning point in the 45th minute, as the referee showed a red card for Donga, forcing Pyramids to continue the game with 10 men.
One minute later, VAR ruled out Asha’s goal for offside, keeping the score level at the end of the first half.
The Second Half
The second half started with a quick goal by Pyramids in the 47th minute of the game, as Ebrahim Adel’s shot found the net.
After four minutes, Hussein El Shahat made his first appearance in the match and was able to equalize the score for the Red Eagles.
In the 60th minute of the encounter, Al Ahly was awarded a penalty; however, Maaloul failed to convert it into the back of the net.
After 21 minutes, Kahraba doubled the score for the Reds right after coming from the bench.
In the dying minutes of the game, Eric Traore was able to equalize the score for Pyramids, ending the encounter in a 2-2 draw.
